APTECH CAREER QUEST 2016: AKEES to GIVE 1,000 REGISTERED NAMES FOR SCHOLARSHIP.



At the end of tomorrow, AKEES will give 1,000 names that have registered for ICT skills under AKEES, to APTECH for a Scholarship. There will be an APTECH seminar tomorrow Saturday 14 May to kickstart the programme. Below are 11 facts you need to know about this programme.
      1.      The World’s most lucrative jobs look for ICT skilled labour. Without ICT skills, your chances for getting a lucrative job are slimmer.
2.      APTECH is an international ICT trainer. They partner with MICROSOFT in providing ICT education, helping people develop internationally selling career skills. Aptech has presence in more than 40 emerging countries. As a leader in career education, it has over 1300 centers of learning across the world.
      3.      A regular APTECH Nigeria 3-month course goes for at least N150,000. Their curriculum helps students acquire the right industry skills and to become in-demand ICT professionals.


      4.      AKEES is partnering with APTECH to train 1,000 individuals who have registered with AKEES for ICT skill, to undergo the 3-month training in Akwa Ibom FREE.
      5.      At the end of the training, there will be an examination. Successful candidates will receive an APTECH certificate with which they can proceed to Middlesex University, for a BSc. Or simply get a job, or create one.
      6.      APTECH Career Quest is a seminar where APTECH will enlighten prospective students on the international career prospects of the ICT industry. In the Uyo seminar on Saturday, there will also be a lottery. Through a lucky dip, winners will go home with Scholarship worth N161million.
      7.      ROOTHUB will provide an incubation process for graduands who want to create jobs with their newly acquired skills after their 3-month programme.
       8.      To be eligible to be among the 1,000, you must be registered with AKEES. You can also register at the venue of the seminar on arrival.
